_hominem_ = Foreigner (originally euphemistic)

Snáu (/znAw/) < Snato = A polite pronoun for "you"
Patli (/'pAKi/) < Patria = Europe
Pfienç (/pfjents/) < sapiens = evil person (<witch < wizard < wise man)
As you can see, there was a strong anti-intellectual tendency in
Román culture.
