No problem; I have the same trouble with mine - I wish I could offer
some advice, I finally just had to guess what each character was
supposed to represent and remember it.

I might be able to find some more for you, but here we go, Greek
first (orthography is that of my sources and I haven't had a chance
to check the etymologies, so they may be debatable):
GREEK:
cirasa - (cherry) - [Greek: kérasos]

I also have a nice word list of Sicilian words compared to their
Italian definitions and English meanings, but unfortunately it's not
etymological. If you were brave enough, you could look at it and then
get out your Arabic and Greek dictionaries and try to find the 5 or 6
gems that might be burried there.
I have some other notes on Sicilian that might have a word or two that
I'll be happy to pass your way when I find them. A creative google
search might help you too.
