Hey everyone.
I've been developing a language based on Classical Latin for a while
now. Those of you who are also on the conlang mailing list will
already know it.
Jovian has some very non-trivial phonology, including some
word-initial mutation and word-final sandhi. =) Here's a little
tidbit to make you curious..
friza ["fri:D@] "cold"
auga friza ["awg@vri:D@] "cold water"
biver augan frizan ["bi:v@r"awg@m"pri:D@n] "to drink cold water"
You can find out more about Jovian on my web page,
http://catharsis.netpeople.ch/langs.html . It even includes a few
audio recordings of the Pater Noster in Jovian.
Opinions, anyone?
